A 221 years old science

It’s about that science that was existing since the nature came into force. But it’s thorough presence was not being realized.

As the evolution of mankind progressed similarly this science also progressed. The time passed on with scientific developments, accomplishments, various speculations and theories. Revolution in the medical world  was also witnessed in this consequence  that lead to improvised healthcare facilities among masses and likewise their quality of life.

Now, focusing on the medical science, around 18th & 19th century marked by plethora of theories & hypothesis concerning the nature of disease & it’s causation. It was a complete chaotic period of that era. The reason being, partial observation & hasty generalizations. Each medico was fighting for his own side of shield with sheer negligence of their rational minds.

In this chaos there was a solitary figure who followed the strict principles of logic & scientific investigational methods to throw light on the knotty problems of medicine. He had the courage and was wise enough to dare to introduce this science in his publications as well.

That personality was Christian Fredrick Samuel Hahnemann(1755-1843) a German born physician who later became father of homeopathy on its discovery.

Yes, homeopathy is that science which was born almost 221 years ago. Though the laws on which it is based since antiquity. Before this new science was actually introduced by it’s master, there was another name Paracelsus (1493-1541) who first emphasized that “when similar is put to similar and used and applied with intelligence the mature is served well”.

This means cure is effected by the means which caused the illness – “as arsenic cureth arsenic, anthrax cureth anthrax, poison cureth poison.”

Thus similar anatomy cures similar ones. Therefore a law” similia similibus curenture” was created which is the foundation stone of homeopathy (a newly discovered science).

The story behind discovery of this science is coming in next article.
